A few years ago, a friend gifted me some smoked cheeses, and I was instantly hooked. There are different stories about how smoked cheese came to be—some say it was discovered when a cheese store owner accidentally left cheese too close to a wood fire, while others claim nomads cooked curds over an open flame. Some even suggest that Vikings created it by thawing frozen cheese over a campfire. In regions like Germany, Russia, and Austria, cheesemakers may have smoked their cheese to help keep warm during the cheese-making process. Today, smoked cheese has become an essential part of many food cultures worldwide, remaining as popular as ever.

I carefully select only the finest cheeses and use top-quality ingredients, creating unique and unforgettable flavors once smoked. To maintain that fresh, smoky goodness, I pack everything in reusable vacuum bags from Chef Preserve so you can reseal them to keep the flavor intact.
